Howdy
Chloe Cook is a poet from Kentucky. A finalist for the 2024 Mississippi Review Poetry Prize, the 2024 Jabberwock Review Nancy D. Hargrove Editors’ Prize in Poetry, and the 2024 Crab Creek Review Poetry Prize, among others, her work is featured or forthcoming in The Journal, The Southeast Review, The Madison Review, and elsewhere. She has received support from Community of Writers and Poetry by the Sea, and is an alum of the Sancho Panza Summer Workshops at Trinity College Dublin. She holds a BA in English from Northern Kentucky University and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Florida, where she received a 2025 Excellence in Graduate Student Teaching Award and served as an editorial assistant for Subtropics. A former editorial intern at Farrar, Straus and Giroux, she was named a 2025 Helen Degen Cohen Fellow at RHINO. She currently resides in Southwest Florida, where she’s at work on a debut poetry book.
