Howdy

Chloe Cook is a poet from Kentucky. She was named a finalist for the 2024 Mississippi Review Poetry Prize, the 2024 Jabberwock Review Nancy D. Hargrove Editors’ Prize in Poetry, and the 2024 Crab Creek Review Poetry Prize, among others. A Best New Poets nominee, she is an alum of the Sancho Panza Summer Workshops at Trinity College Dublin and has received support from Community of Writers, Poetry by the Sea, the Key West Literary Seminar, and the Kenyon Review Writers Workshops. She holds a BA in English from Northern Kentucky University and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Florida, where she received an Excellence in Graduate Student Teaching Award and served as an editorial assistant for Subtropics. A former editorial intern at Farrar, Straus and Giroux, she received a 2025 Helen Degen Cohen Fellowship from RHINO. She currently lives in Southwest Florida, where she teaches middle school English and reads poetry for New England Review.
